My friend just delivered at Newton and they were forcing a vaginal birth on her when she was supposed to be a c section from other medical problems it took both of their hearts stopping a couple times to do a c section. I've been to Newton for pregnancy issues and for other problems I'll never go back with how they treated me. MORRISTOWN I'd never deliver in Newton my nephews mom and everyone else who delivered at Newton wasn't happy yet when they had their second as Morristown they were beyond thrilled. I will come on next week and let you know what I think of MMH if you want if you are wanting to go natural, I would still ask your OB about epidural just in case you change your mind so its in your chart ( or any other pain relief ) if you need it don't wait until you've changed your mind cause the Dr that does the epidurals is very busy n might not get to you. MMH at least has a ton of Ob residents right there in LnD so no waiting. this is important to remember cause you will swear while in pain that they aren't calling the Dr lol n could careless about your pain. I can tell you as a FTM don't expect it to be anything like you see in Movies at all ? They have things called baby booms where everyone is in labor at the same time and they can be short staffed ( an this is at every hospital ) so if you need something while in labor or after you have the baby, just remember your not the only one in there having a baby N they might not be able to get to you when you want, they also can't really help you w pain n discomfort until they get a hold of the Dr either. īut Like I said everyone has a different experience. I mean G-D FORBID something happens to mother or baby, the best Dr's n NICU are literally right there.

I love that MMH DONT do room sharing, that is a big plus for me and another plus is. Now I have friends that had babies there and LOVED it NEVER EVER AGAIN ! They do room sharing where you have a roommate, and what went on there n how I was treated along with my hubby n kids I will NEVER even use that hospital again ! I gave birth at St.Barnabas and let me say. I can see why they have the room in, cause honestly your home within a day after and you really need to get to know your baby and that is where most of the complaints come from. they told me if she is fussy and I need rest ( as long as they aren't busy ) they will keep her at the nursing station. When I did my tour I was told how they no longer have a nursery which is fine but I have Lupus and there might be complications and I already know I'm having a blood transfusion. I have heard n read mixed reviews about MMH and from my experience you can't make everyone happy lol ?.
This is my 8th baby and I have had only 2 children at the same hospital and the rest in different hospitals in different states. everyone's birthing Experience is different. The best advice I can give you is like every pregnancy.
My OB care the whole time has been there at the clinic. I was born at Morristown and I'm having my baby there next Monday The 18th.
